DGCA exams are a key part of becoming a pilot in India. They’re not hard if approached the right way — but many students get overwhelmed. Here's a gist of all the subjects involved!

The DGCA Ground Subjects include:

• Air Navigation

• Meteorology

• Air Regulation

• Technical General

• Technical Specific (depending on aircraft type)

• Radio Telephony (RTR A & B)

Of these, if you are training from outside of India, you maybe exempted from clearing the Technical papers and RTR .

How to prepare smartly:

• Understand the exam pattern (MCQs, no negative marking)
